Rom-Com isn’t an easy sub-genre to write in romance. Leave it to Belle Brooks to wrap herself around the shtick and nail it with her new release Bang Bang. She takes the wrong place, wrong time trope and runs with it, as cake-loving Miranda pulls Joe Haggerty off the street for a bite of cake and soon discovers she’s bitten off more than she can chew with the random street hunk.
Brooks brilliantly constructs the who done it with fun unconventional antics. The banter between Miranda and Haggerty flows throughout the novel. In true Brooks form, there is suspense, a sense of realism, humor, and a budding love which makes it altogether a fun light read. End your summer with a Pow and pick up Bang Bang. You won’t regret it!
