The Goal – Off Campus Series by Elle Kennedy

thegoalellekennedy

The Goal is the fourth book in Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus Series. If you like college romance with a mixture of academia, swirled with a sweaty sports sense, then you’ll love this series. The Goal is the latest and follows the story of Sabrina James and John Tucker. It’s layered with multiple modern-day themes, super hot sexy times, and the maturation life hands you when you play life on the edge. Elle Kennedy’s series is always a pleasure to read, layered with plenty of college antics, humor, and enough soul-searching for a completely enjoyable read.

Reading the ARC was belly laughing good times. The Chronicles of Larry will be arriving soon and you certainly do not want to miss out! Seymour Snatch and  Seester McSeesterson are the ultimate satirical duo, recreating the journals which account for Larry’s life experiences. This prose satire is not for the faint of heart. Add The Chronicles of Larry: Episode One to your Goodreads list and be ready to take the ride of your life time on October 3, 2016.

The Pucked Boys Meet the Inked Armor Clan!

get-inked

Helena Hunting masterfully pens another fabulous prose work. The blend of humor, sexy times, and friendships only grows stronger in this little work of art. Often when an author blends one series with another, the unique voice of individual characters diminishes. Hunting never falters, and the depth of true character development continues flawlessly. Once the chemistry begins, she builds both the Pucked boys and the Inked Armor Clan seamlessly. The Pucked Series and the Clipped Wings Series are both unreal, but the blend is simply amazing! Now I can’t wait for the next releases in either series!

Coming Soon, The Chronicles of Larry!

colcreveal001

All because satire and crude humor make my day! The Chronicles of Larry is being brought to you be a couple of light-hearted, humor filled, hecklers, whom I can’t wait for them to share their joint efforts and give the world just one more off-color laugh!

COVER REVEAL – THE CHRONICLES OF LARRY: SEASON ONE

Seymour Snatch & Seester McSeesterson

AVAILABLE 10/3/2016

Blurb:
“This book made me want to expel my lunch, and should never have been penned.” Honore de Ballsack

“The Chronicles of Larry is a juvenile telling of vile creature that never met an object at which he wouldn’t shake his testicles.” Vladimir Grabacock

Allegedly based on a true story (this cannot be confirmed nor denied)…

Many moons ago in a seedy alley that cut through the heart of Toledo, Ohio, Seester McSeesterson and Seymour Snatch stumbled on their way to a hotel from an evening of drunken debauchery. In that moment, Seester noticed a leather bound journal illuminated by the bright moonlight next to a dumpster.

She never knew that when she opened it their lives would be forever changed. Contained therein was a journal of a man named Larry. For hours they poured over tale after tale of revenge of the highest order, the ultimate in chicanery, and lived out a romance for the ages, coupled with the most electrifying profane lexicon either of them had ever bore witness to.

They searched for years trying to locate this rockstar of revenge and purveyor of profanity, only to come up empty in every search. Soon after, they decided it would be selfish to keep to themselves this epic saga of one man’s transformation from every day office drone to freedom and f*ckery. So they transcribed his journal in order to release it to the world.

ADDITIONAL WARNING:

This book contains the most offensive stories of all time and should be banned worldwide. Seymour and Seester are not responsible for any material contained herein and are merely vessels transporting these stories to the masses. Please proceed with extreme caution. You have been warned.

Tess Hunter AKA Pepper Winters

canttouchthis

Excited to read this little piece of dirty, witty, never-ending innuendo! I loved Winters’ dark reads beyond words. Her break out to Tess Hunter shows the depth of talent her prose writing achieves. The off the cuff dialogue and hysterical inner monologues kept me entertained! If you love Winters’ dark romances go ahead and give the Rom-Com a try. You won’t be disappointed with the unveiling of Tess Hunter’s talents!

Belle Brooks Debut Novel

thirtydays

Bravo to Belle Brooks on her début novel. A very suspenseful, dark tale of one Abigail McMillan. The depth of character by which Brooks develops this twisted and turned master piece is brilliant. The strength built into Abi, “Something tells me, Abigail, that you  have many battle scars and they you’re an unwavering fighter,” creates the building blocks for a very eye-opening journey for Abi. If you like suspense, dark secrets, and an ending sure to provoke a plethora of emotions then this is your read!

Celia Aaron’s Tempting Eden

tempting-eden

I’m having a serious book hangover with this one. Celia Aaron’s Tempting Eden addresses multiple deep social issues with an elegance and charm unmatched by many of today’s authors. Aaron’s stylistic moves through the journey of Jack and Eden smoothly unfolds and dig deep into the aristocratic upbringing vs the socio-economically challenged upbringing. She tackles the issues of biracial injustices, sexual orientation, corporate sex driven power struggles, and the forbidden apple.

A few months ago Aaron posed a question about her cover and topic because it appeared people were shying away from the social issues addressed. Well there is no doubt that Aaron struck gold with this one. Her crafty author moves are deeply rooted, leaving the reader with new life breathed into some difficult issues which plague our news feeds daily. Aaron never tells a reader how to interpret her themes, she leaves you ready to question how things need changed in our modern world.

I’ve read multiple works published by Aaron and I love them all for different reasons. Tempting Eden however truly touched on those issues which most of society still sweeps under the rug. I enjoy works which do not lay blame but bring to light internal struggles and show how they can be overcome. Jack and Eden certainly explore the moral and ethical issues which plague our current society. Tempting Eden is well worth diving into and investigating deeper into the serpents within society!

YA Trinity Hanrahan Debut Novel

Pivotal M

In her début YA novel Pivotal Moments, Trinity Hanrahan captures the frustrating life lived in the high school social circles. She does a brilliant job addressing self-image, self-esteem, social hierarchies, and young love. She truly brings to life Aislinn, a high school senior who has experienced her fair share of bullying, body image issues, and desperate need to move onto college. Her love interest, Teagan, while older, breathes life into the unhappy senior. Hanrahan captures the beauty of young love and the right of passage through of falling for someone deeply. A wonderful read, and the beauty continues with her release of Decisive Moments September 6, 2016.

YA Descent, The Immortal Chronicles

Descent

Afforded the opportunity to read a YA novel for an honest review, Descent by Sloane Murphy is a sure thing with the YA audience. It sits in the realm of fantasy, sci-fi, Vampires, fairies and humans with a glimpse of dystopia. All the things my students look for when they are busy picking out something to read. If you like the paranormal Addie’s story may be right up your ally!
